This picture was taken the day the baby was blessed. She was about 3 weeks old and sound asleep in her daddy's arms. My heart swells with pride to see the man my son has become and his tiny daughter.

Pairs

These two male alpacas are about 1 year old from different mothers. They have the softest fleece in the whole world! This picture should have been cropped before I published it, but I'm too busy trying to take pictures to bother.

Negative Space

This photo doesn't fit the assignment as much as I would like. I took this pic one morning when I was early for work. The morning sun is shining from the right side of the picture and the sky was clear and beautiful.

Symmetry

This photo was taken at the Cedar Falls transfer station. The corner of this fence is pointing up hill, even though it's not evident. We were on one of our high-class weekly dates when I saw the fence corner and realized that it fit the assignment!

Depth

This tree is in our back yard. It's about 30-40 feet tall. That's short by NW standards!

Pairs

These shoes represent the different aspects of my life, namely casual, work, church, and recreation. If I did this photo again, I would make sure the shoes on the boards were closer to a 90 degree angle. I would also PS out the date stamp.

One of these days I am going to figure out how to configure the elements on this blog!

I was in the back yard trying to find something to shoot. One of our cats, Bagheera, wanted to be fed, so I shot the cat (with the camera).
